Apple Health Extended Coverage Ending

Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) is in the process of ending the extended Apple Health coverage that was implemented during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

As of 4/1/2023, Apple Health (Medicaid) annual renewals are being processed for the first time in three years.  Below are some valuable resources and tools that will help clients and system partners navigate the end of the public health emergency.


At this time, the areas of focus for clients who are single adults, pregnant individuals, children, or parent/caretakers:


Ambassador Program

Community partners can receive monthly webinar updates and access client materials when they sign up to be a volunteer for the Apple Health ambassador program.

Announcement of New Provider

January 20, 2022

Greater Columbia Behavioral Health is pleased to announce that as of April 10th 2022 Comprehensive Healthcare will be providing behavioral health crisis services for Benton and Franklin County. 

Comprehensive Healthcare has been providing behavioral health crisis services for the past 50 years and will bring a great deal of knowledge and expertise to the Benton and Franklin Counties. 

Comprehensive Healthcare currently provides behavioral Health crisis services to the Yakima, Kittitas, Walla Walla and Columbia Counties in the Greater Columbia region.
